Blog topic #23 and families

I decided I needed to devote more time to my website which includes regular blog posts. I know this probably sounds crazy, but even with my creative mind, thinking of topics typically eludes me. Doing a bit of research, I came across a 30-Day Writing Challenge with thirty different topics (I wish I could give credit, but I don’t recall where I downloaded it). As I looked over the topics, I found #23 something worth noting. It is to blog about “A family member you dislike.” Now, my entire family doesn’t read my blog, but I can guarantee you the one time I write something like that, they’d all swarm.

I love them all anyway, so I can’t use this topic. And, as for them not following my every move, it’s okay because they aren’t all into romance, and they don’t force me to read what they do. My baby sister is big into non-fiction. I shudder at the thought. As for my family, if you are curious about them, I have three sisters who read different genres in fiction and non-fiction, as do their husbands, and then our mother reads yet another genre. We are the type of family that would ‘fan out’ if we hit a bookstore together and not run into each other until we made it to the coffee shop after purchase. At least you don’t have to worry about someone spoiling the ending of a book you are reading ????.

So, that’s a little about me today and my ability to turn a non-topic option into sentences. I’m open for topic suggestions and questions. Send me a message via the Connect tab. Until next time – happy reading!

  1. You do have an older sister that, like me, reads and loves your books. It still amazing me how you come up with your ideas. I think you are soooo talented and I love you very much!
