How I introduced myself to my grandnieces and nephews who live far away

Did you want to get to know something about me? Well, here’s your chance.

As with many families, at least one person lives far away – not a short car ride. One of my sisters lives in Florida and I’m in Mississippi. That’s nearly twelve hours. Not a short car ride. As her family has grown, I’ve only met my grandnieces and nephews once – and not all of them. It’s been so long, and I’ve been out of touch with the younger ones but want to be in touch now. Since they don’t remember me (they were young when I visited), my sister and I came up with an idea to introduce myself to them. Here is the card (front and back) that I sent them. My understanding is they loved it. Now it’s time for birthday cards.

  1. Great idea to introduce yourself to family you don’t get to see. I keep in touch with my family and friends through face book as I am friends with family and friends on face book.
