Hello Fabulous Readers!

Sheila here, and I’m excited to share a sneak peek into the behind-the-scenes of my current manuscript, When Daylight Breaks, which is now with the editor. This story revolves around two incredible K9s and their devoted handlers, and let me tell you, diving into the world of dogs has been nothing short of a joy. 

Here is a snapshot of my initial search history before I went down the wormhole of researching. And just a quick note: most of my research was done on my phone, so it didn’t make it into this snapshot.

One of the highlights for me was discovering K9 commands in various languages. While I focused on German for the book, I found an amazing website that offered commands in three different languages. I know it might not seem like the most thrilling search history, but I couldn’t resist playing with them all. My cats didn’t respond, lol.

Next time, I promise to use my computer for research so that I may share the fascinating and sometimes bizarre things we, as writers, look up while creating a book. You won’t believe some of the searches that spark our imagination.
